OUR VISION

To protect and enhance the cultural and archaeological values of the Ancient City of Priene in accordance with scientific principles; to establish an exemplary site management model that prioritizes participatory management, sustainable use, and local-social benefit; to increase its recognition nationally and internationally, transforming Priene into a heritage center open to research, education, and cultural activities.

OUR MISSION

●                  To protect Priene's tangible and intangible cultural heritage, securing it through documented and traceable methods;

●                  Collaborate with universities, research institutions, and experts to support and develop archaeology, conservation science, and sustainable conservation practices;

●                  Establish a transparent and participatory governance framework with local communities, public institutions, NGOs, and private sector stakeholders;

●                  Plan educational and tourist activities while considering the carrying capacity of the area through visitor management, accessibility, and interpretation programs;

●                  Supporting the direct social benefits of cultural heritage by harmonizing the protection of the area with local economic development;

●                  Operationalize risk management, emergency response, and monitoring mechanisms; continuously improve management through regular evaluation and renewal processes.
